Dedicated volunteers who live in the area who are trained to provide basic response skills and insure prevention, assistance, surveillance and safety

These volunteers act as the eyes of the community, and will report any incident to the security forces.

Neighborhood Watch is a non-profit initiative that aims to provide a sense of security to the residents of achrafieh.

We rely on your contributions to continue our mission and expand our coverage area to include sioufi, nasra, sassine, getaoui and fassouh.

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH IN NUMBERS

Neighborhood watch employs about 30 vigils per zone. each Zone is supervised by two managers.

It is a solidarity project that provides more than 150 jobs for residents of the neighborhood.

The operation cost for each zone is of $8,000 (service rendered at cost). our total operation budget is of $ 24,000 per month.

Our target is to raise funds as follows:

• Target from private donors (200 nights)
• Retail participation
• Residential buildings
• Expatriate donations
• Corporations

Our cost to operate, in all Achrafieh, across 9 zones is $2,500 per night (300 vigils). Our initial fundraising goal is to secure the first 200 nights. The staff budget for the entire year is of $ 900,000.
